Solution: Finding and creating a unique identity from association with a genre of music and live performance.
I would like to demonstrate this story by photographing people in daily life situations alone and separate from other groups of people, then juxtaposing them with images of that same person being happy and fitting in at performances or through other visual associations with a genre of music. I would like to use at least two different genres of music to emphasize that this is not specific to one group but universal for all forms of music.
